SEVEN COFFEE STREET
Written and recorded during a bohemian passage in New-Orleans, this heart warming and simple EP presents bare bones instrumentation juxtaposed with refined vocal harmonies. This calm and powerful work lays the groundwork for the identity that will blossom into LENOIRE; these songs are ever present on stage to this day.
CONSIDERATION
With a grunge and progressive approach, this EP marks the entrance of LENOIRE into the Montreal scene. The two songs, recorded swiftly demonstrate a creative volition pushed to its breaking point, showing the darker side of the formation. Confident and scathing LENOIRE’s second EP allows an underlying beauty to shine through.
VHS
Electro-pop EP containing 2 versions of the same song - one in English and the other in French - VHS is made in collaboration with beatmaker Loukas, member of the Montreal band Titelaine. These twin pieces are a stunning fusion of LENOIRE's natural sound and Loukas's massive but naughty aesthetic.
SATISFACTION
Ripe and complex, Satisfaction witnesses the love held by the band for classic Rhythm’n Blues. Pared down to six songs, this short album unfolds itself through a grand stylistic exploration and rises strong with its energetic vocal harmonies and the natural spontaneity of the band.
